Thank you to all our generous sponsors and attendees of the YWCA’s 15th annual Engaging Communities Luncheon. You can visit our sponsors by clicking on their logo or name below.
At the luncheon, Lizbeth Heyer asked what we wanted to be doing on our 90th birthday. She ended her remarks by focusing on living with dignity. One of the values of the YWCA is to promote dignity for all. Our goal is to ensure that all who live in our affordable housing and all who participate in our programs are treated with dignity.
Our luncheon this year focused not only on our new senior affordable housing program but how our mission impacts our programs and our communities. For YWCA, our mission is at the core of who we are and what we do.
We have received many positive comments regarding my speech at the luncheon. A copy of my speech is available here. We’re greatly appreciative of all who attended our lunch to learn more about our mission, to Lizbeth Heyer for speaking and framing the issue of aging in community, and to all who donated to the work and mission of YWCA Greater Newburyport.
Thank you again,
