In 2024, YWCA Greater Newburyport celebrated it’s 141st anniversary, engaged a top-level strategic consulting firm and developed a strategic plan for 2025-2028.
The goal of the plan was to continue our strong leadership foundation and focus on building a healthy, inclusive community.
As we look to meet the needs of the community we serve today and into the future, we believe that our current programs and services already work to achieve that goal. We also recognize we have areas to grow and improve.
In support of our strategic plan, your donation to our 2024 annual appeal will help us:
- Provide free access to health and wellness programs for low-income individuals,
- Continue to develop accessible, affordable housing,
- Support working families by providing high quality childcare which we discount based on income level and
- Continue our mission to promote racial justice in our community through a variety of community wide events.
