YWCA Greater Newburyport hosts YWCA O’ahu

YWCA Greater Newburyport had the honor of hosting Noriko Namiki and Terri Funakoshi from YWCA O’ahu. YWCA O’ahu operates similar programs to us and a few we do not have. They visited to see how we manage our historic property, pool, wellness and affordable housing with a particular interest in our affordable housing development. It was a wonderful learning opportunity for us, as we were able to see how another YWCA tackles similar challenges. In addition to touring our YWCA, they also visited YWCA Northeastern MA in Lawrence. Special thanks to Nancy Caswell for the wonderful lunch and to the Garrison Inn for the accommodations.
