YWCA Residences at Ingalls Court

YWCA Greater Newburyport
YWCA Residences at Ingalls Court
We have exciting news! Our 48 unit senior affordable housing project is open.
This project will serve very low income senior households. On the first floor, Element Care will offer a Program of All Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE). For tenants who choose PACE, they will receive comprehensive medical services, including primary care, behavioral health, physical therapy and social services ON SITE! We are one of the first projects in the country to combine affordable housing with PACE services.
The building will be built to Passive Housing Institute US standards (PHIUS) which means it will be extremely energy efficient. In addition, we will install 320 solar panels on the roof, producing almost 1/3 of the energy necessary to
operate the building.
Many of our new tenants are currently homeless, many are frail seniors with disabilities, all are very low income.
We would like to provide each of our tenants with a new gift basket when they arrive in their new apartment and we need your help.
Below are a list of items we hope to give to our tenants upon arrival. We are hoping to keep the baskets identical, so please choose one or more items from the list below.
Gift Basket Items: Please Consider Donating
Dish Drying Rack
Paper Towel Holder
Toilet Brush with holder
Toilet Plunger
Dust-Pan/Dust Broom
Laundry Basket
Scotch Brite Sponges
Dawn Dish Soap
Swifter
Dry or Wet Swifter Heads
Unscented Laundry Detergent
Cerama Bryte Combo Tool Kit (please be brand specific on this item as we require its use in our resident handbook)
If you are able to donate any of the above items, please bring them to the YWCA Greater Newburyport to the front desk.
We appreciate your help in welcoming all of our new tenants into their homes.
Sincerely,
John Feehan
Executive Director
