Please help us bring our YWCA Hillside project to fruition so we can make affordable, sustainable housing available to those in need!
This project is sustainably designed to produce more energy than it consumes– it not only has solar panels but will also be Passive House Institute of America and LEED Platinum certified.
This project will provide affordable housing to those with the lowest incomes in our community, supported with state operating vouchers. For those with slightly higher incomes, it will offer a fixed low rental amount which includes all utilities.
Because of the pandemic, this project faced some delays and has now outgrown our funding for it.
Our goal is to raise $65,000 to furnish the house and complete the funding. While your donation might not be assigned to a specific item, it will be used to furnish the project and successfully get us to closing, so that 10 individuals will have a sustainable and affordable place to call home.
